Meridian completes first-record and bench-readiness challenges
Twenty-one reproducible software cases clarify the controls needed before a surrogate-strip test, receiver timing claim or independent-input claim can advance.
Three research programs make their next decisions explicit
Meridian Research Collective has completed Cycle 004, a set of twenty-one deterministic software challenges examining bench readiness, receiver first records and acquisition authority. Two recorded methods exchanges connect the program teams without treating the shared methods as evidence of a shared physical mechanism.
The bench-readiness study specifies equipment, independent reference custody and before-and-after controls for an ordinary surrogate strip. Its actual equipment gate remains unmet. The first-record study exposes an edit concealed by agreeing receiver archives when an independently retained acquisition witness is supplied. A separate timing case reveals a twenty-millisecond midpoint excursion hidden from endpoint synchronization.
The acquisition-authority study distinguishes authentic receipts from independent draws. Its reconsideration histories preserve initial withholding and show that a late ledger entry can either support independence or reveal a shared acquisition. Compromised and mistaken authorities produce identical observable discrepancies in the paired scenarios.
Scope and next work
The cases are authored software fixtures, not physical measurements, human studies or independent replication. No working tether, lunar link or psychic amplifier is claimed, and no exogenous interaction or clinical benefit is established. Existing ET/ED postures remain unchanged.
The next work is to identify actual bench equipment and specifications, define independent first-record and timing-witness custody, and specify acquisition-ledger custody and authority-status timing. Ruth Calder’s collective dispatch places those tasks in the programs’ larger ambitions; the review journal follows the decisions and disagreements behind them. The previously released press kit remains the Cycle 003 baseline edition.
About Meridian Research Collective
Meridian Research Collective brings together the Meridian Space Elevator Initiative, the Lumen Lunar Communications Initiative and the Noema Institute’s Aletheia program. Its publications connect engineering research, evidence preservation and the responsibilities of extending human reach.
